This exciting opportunity arises as a result of a major sports facility development by Malton School, in conjunction with North Yorkshire County Council and Ryedale District Council. The School is constructing a new sports facility for School
and community (scheduled for opening early 2011) comprising: ● Sports Hall ● Climbing Wall ● Full size 3G Synthetic Pitch
The School is also looking to develop greater community use of its existing grass pitches and tennis courts. The Challenge
Managing the new facility will be a challenge, but a rewarding one. The Community Sports Manager will be responsible for operational and fi nancial matters relating to the facilities. However the task is much bigger than that. We are looking for the CSM to be a catalyst for the further development of sport - in
school and community. This will include: ● Supporting PE staff and primary school staff in the delivery of curricular and after school sport
● Working with local clubs to develop sport and the sports infrastructure ● Working with relevant partners to promote coach education, volunteering and
performance initiatives The Person

We are looking for a highly motivated, service driven Duty Offi cer, to work on a shift basis at our operationally demanding dual use wet-side & dry-side facilities at Monmouth Leisure Centre.
Applicants should be customer focused and have previous experience of working in a leisure facility. An ILAM, ISRM, NVQ Level 3 leisure management qualifi cation or relevant degree is also essential as is a First Aid at Work qualifi cation, RLSS NPLQ and Pool Plant Operators Certifi cate.
