Question 8

In order to be able to compare the two boxes we need to have the same weight for both. We can work out the weight per 1kg

Small box: if 2kg costs £1.72 then 1kg will cost £1.72 ÷ 2 = £0.86 Large box: if 9 kg costs £7.65 then 1 kg will cost £7.65 ÷ 9 = £0.85 So large box is better value for money.

Question 9

Rotation (direction is not important here as clockwise or anticlockwise gives the same result as the rotation is 180⁰), of 180⁰ about the centre (0, 1)

Question 10 360 x 1.175 = £423

(or 17.5 % of 360 = .  x 360 = £63, then £360 + £63 = £423)
