Programs K-12
Citizen Schools Through this national partnership, EMC and Citizen Schools have committed to increase the quantity and quality of STEM Apprenticeships in ten-week after school learning opportunities for students to participate in hands-on activities working with industry volunteers. EMC also supports the program by inviting students to our corporate campuses for hands-on activities, real-world problem solving and career exploration.
Boston Museum of Science
The Boston Museum of Science extends science education beyond the classroom. EMC is a corporate sponsor of the Museum, and our employees are engaged in volunteering with youth of all ages.
California Academy of the Sciences The California Academy of the Sciences is a scientifi c institution committed to leading-edge research, educa- tional outreach, and fi nding new and innovative ways to engage and inspire the public. EMC’s support will be used to further the Academy’s Classroom Kits and Teacher Workshops to promote hands-on science activities in the classroom.
FIRST Robotics
In the FIRST program high school students design and build robots for regional and national competitions. EMC sponsors FIRST teams throughout the U.S.
Massachusetts State Science and Engineering Fair (MSSF)
Over 300 high school students showcase their projects in science, math and technology in this competition held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. EMC is a supporting sponsor of the MSSF.
