Investor snapshot


Construction has begun on a £4 million anaerobic digestion plant which will process food waste from councils and McDonald’s into renewable electricity. The plant’s developers North Northamptonshire based Fernbrook Bio, estimate that it will convert up to 30,000 tonnes of food and vegetable waste from domestic and commercial sources into renewable electricity a year. A resulting bio-fertiliser will be distributed to local farms as well.
