Voorhees Theatre Company will present the summer production of Footloose, the musical, August 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Voorhees Middle School theater. The musical, based on the 80s
movie starring Kevin Bacon, be- gins when Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town. Ren knows there will be an adjustment period at his new high school, but isn’t pre- pared for the strict religious and moral edicts imposed on its youth by the local preacher.

The students will be collecting donations dur- ing the performances. For every $1 collected, a new pair of shoes can be purchased.
