Bestselling book arrives on stage at SART
Te Southern Appalachian
Repertory Teater will perform “Tuesdays with Morrie” beginning Wednesday (July 7) and continu-
ing until July 18. Te play is based on journalist
Mitch Albom’s bestselling book of the same name.
Te play follows a career-ob-
sessed journalist whose visits to his retired college professor teach them both basic truths about liv- ing, dying and what it means to be loved. Dan and Beverly Lunsford,
Gasperson Moving and Storage and Te Furniture Market is pro- ducing the play. SART presents the mainstage
summer season of productions each year in the historic Owen Teatre on the campus of Mars Hill College. Regular admission is $28. Senior

Rabies clinic Te Friends of Madison County
Animals will hold a rabies clinic July 17 at FOMCA’S office across from the Madison County Post Of- fice in downtown Marshall. Rabies vaccinations are $10, dogs DHLPP (5 in 1) is $15, bordetella is $15 and feline distemper/leukemia combo will be $20. All dogs must be on leashes and

Madison County A carnival will be held from
July 8 through July 10 at Madison County Fairgrounds. Te fair will run from 5 pm to 10 pm July 8, 5 pm to 11 pm July 9 and 1 pm to 11 pm July 10. Tere will be no gate admission.
