Tacy Apostolik said there are few things that irritate her more than someone telling her they are not creative. Perhaps it was the discourag-
ing words of an elementary school teacher or classmate, but Apostolik believes many stifle their artistic spirit out of fear of failing. To help model a nurturing en-
vironment for either the novice or experienced artist, she is starting a series of workshops this sum- mer designed to awaken creative juices. “Te intention is to create a place
where people feel safe and explore their creativity through the arts,” Apostolik said of the process to bring forth potentially suppressed artistic sparks. “We are all artists. We manifest it in different ways.” Te process includes soothing
