Local Farmers’ Markets Are Up To Their Ears In Corn

T

he Tucson Farmers’ Markets are just brimming with corn. To celebrate,

the Tucson Farmers’ Markets will hold a Corn Festival at Oro Valley in Town Hall Complex on August 14th and at the Farmers’ Market in St. Philip’s Plaza on August 15th. This festival will feature over forty

of our very own farmers, bakeries and vendors from Tucson and the surround- ing areas. Enjoy some of the season’s sweetest corn, picked only hours before each market opens. Sample freshly baked cornbread and fragrant roasted corn. Get some of the best insider information from the growers and farmers themselves. Taste corn relishes and muffins, and collect recipes. Oro Valley Farmer’s Market is located at the corner of Naranja and La Canada

in the Town Hall complex and is open from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The festival will continue on Sunday at the Tucson Farmers’ Market at St Philip’s Plaza on Au- gust 15th, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Tucson Farmer’s Market is located on the Southeast corner of River and Campbell in the St. Philip’s Plaza.
