A Woman To Admire By: Joseph Allen

L

iz Hansche is one of the most dynamic women in the world of real estate.

She’s admired for many reasons. She em- bodies qualities not seen in real estate. Liz Hansche seems to be an exception

to every rule. As a very successful and tireless professional, she seems to know what is required of her, and how to be suc- cessful. Most of all what her clients really want. She believes what they want, is a strong dose of empathy which she gra- ciously provides. In PWM’s interview, confidence is what really struck us. Her number one goal is for her clients to have the most pleasurable and comfortable ex- perience when buying or selling their home. Her achievements are many start- ing, from winning Outstanding Woman of the Year for the City of Long Beach in 1986 to being in the Top 1% nationwide in for Prudential California Real Estate. Countless other awards such as Chair- man’s circle 2005, 2006 & 2007. Circle Gold Award 2003 & 2004. Outstanding Sales Achievement Award 2002 & Mil- lion Dollar Recipient Award 2000. In ad- dition, Liz also received in 2007 & 2008 the Chairman’s Circle Gold Award and was a recipient of Prudential Califor- nia Realty’s “Legend Award” in 2009. Liz is also a “Mentor” for new real estate agents and a “Corporate Relocation Spe- cialist” for Prudential California Realty. After taking a risk in 2002 and jump-

ing into the real estate fray, Liz Hansche knew she had to be different then a typical real estate agent. Most were aggressive and not connecting with their clients. Her “compassion”, she remarked that’s what “makes her different”. Typically Liz looks at the transaction, as if she was helping a family member. Her clients become like family, she invites them over for socials at her house, gets invited to their house, again not typically what you see in real estate. Her passive and not aggressive style is not typical in the average field of sales in general. Sometimes being pas- sive, can be perceived as a weakness; however Liz Hansche managed to use it as an advantage. How did she become so successful with the passivity? It was her genuine concern for her clients that usu-

ally came across. The empathy and con- cern was more important then the actual sale.

When Liz Hansche embarked on her outstanding real estate career, she had no illusions on the difficulty that was ahead of her. With a dogged vigor, spending countless hours, sometimes 18 hours a day, she knew she had to be 200% com- mitted. All along, deep down, she knew working hard, was not necessarily the an- swer to success, but working smarter. Six months into her new career, she never got discouraged. She delved back to her old major of communications, back when she attended California State University at Long Beach. She theorized that her com- munication degree can somehow be an as- set in her new chosen career. Most sales people have marketing degrees, her com- munications degree, took her in a direc- tion that was more innovative, and apply- ing it in what is typically not seen in the real estate field. As the Real estate market started to

shift in ways never seen before, Liz Han- sche somehow knew that the shifts are op- portunities. Whether the shift was up in valuations, or spiraling downward. She noticed that many of her competitors in

the field were dropping out; because of the calamity that was the market. Liz with a few minor adjustments to her strategy saw it as an opportunity. This dynamic ability to change with the times is an in- spiration to many women, and making those adjustments does lead to success. Liz’s efforts generated attention as she tapped into her professional sales and marketing background to create cutting edge marketing pieces that truly stood out. High-gloss color brochures, weekly mail- ings and market updates were supple- mented by her personal touch. Liz has done an outstanding job in “branding” her name in the real estate arena. Liz’s ability to build rapport quickly with her clients and associates. Her dynamic personality along with her strong passion for the busi- ness has made her a very successful real- tor. She is exceptionally proud that her hard work and extraordinary client care, has earned her a strong base of clients. Her referral business from clients are nu- merous, and they truly appreciate her out- standing service. Liz aspires to inspire like no other real

estate agents before her. She started a mentoring program that tailors to women with particular situations. “Some women cannot commit full time, because of chil- dren that they have to take care of. Her confidence and drive are addictive. She believes in her mission, and committed to her goal. She knew early on that theirs “no turning back”. That’s exactly what she projects to those she mentors. It gets them in a more committed mindset, and is their best track to success. She points to her 16 years of marriage to Ty Hansche, who is her inspiration to going into the field, as part of her success. For Liz commitment is not taken lightly, sure it’s an “old school” way of thinking, but looking at her remarkable and successful career, how can one argue with success.
