The Mystery History Tour - Special

Sunday opening where you can meet our time travelling guide. (Sun only)

King’s Own on Parade - Meet a

soldier character of the King’s Own Regiment from the Second World War and learn about army life. (Fri/Sat)

Lancaster Maritime Museum

The Vikings Are Coming! -

Experience childhood in a Viking society. Meet our Vikings and learn how they lived. (Sat/Sun)

Lancaster Castle

Knight’s School - Come to the

Castle grounds and experience how a medieval boy became a knight and a girl a lady. (Mon only) Plus don’t miss out on special children’s tours throughout the weekend

Judges’ Lodgings

Victorian Childhood - Our Victorian

Housekeeper will be preparing the house for the judge’s visit, and meet the gruesome Victorian Hanging Judge to hear stories about crime, trials and punishment. (Sat/Sun). Bring back childhood memories of classic fairytales with art & craft fun. (Mon only)

The Cottage Museum

Meet Granny Satterthwaite and learn

about Victorian childhood. (Sat/Sun/Mon)

CATTERALL GALA

Annual village gala with procession of Queens, floats, bands, fancy dress and Morris dancers. Parade starts 1.30pm from the parish playing fields through the village & back for the crowning of the 2010 Gala Queen. Football tournament, stalls, refreshments and fun fair.
