Learning to smoke you catch
Smokey Jo will be back at Bessy Beck to send the mouth watering aroma of her delicious re- cipes wafting over the lakes. Jo will have a range of different smokers on dispaly – and plenty of opportunity for some tasting sessions. You can also book a full day course with Jo to find out how to get the best out of what you catch.
Dine in a mine
It’s not every day you have the chance to
partake of a three course dinner inside a mountain. Well, this is what is on offer on Friday May 21, as part of the Keswick Moun- tain Festival. The dinner, which is black tie (of course!), will be served in Honister Slate Mine and hosted by TV presenter and Cum- bria fan Julia Bradbury. The price is £125 and there’s room for 60 people in Mark Weir’s remarkable mine. To book this dinner, click here.
