Luxury and Sustainability Are Compatible
Dornbracht has joined forces with CME Sanitary Systems, the manufacturers of the innovative Ecoplay grey water management system, to provide a complete all-in-one water efficient solution to housebuilders. With the Code for Sustainable Homes legislation requiring a reduction in the amount of water use per person – down to 105 litres per day to achieve Level 3, CME Sanitary Systems is demonstrating how this and even higher code levels can be achieved easily by installation of an Ecoplay system. Mark Booth, Sales & Marketing Director at Dornbracht, explains: “Working in partnership with CME is part of increasing our commitment to housebuilders. Our aim is to help them meet their requirements, but still provide homes with bathrooms with the same luxurious features that appeal to homebuyers. Greywater recycling helps to achieve this and Ecoplay is one of the simplest and most effective systems on the market.”

Challenge of Concealing Plumbing Pipework Solved
D-Line has created a cost-effective and attractive solution for hiding surface mounted central heating and plumbing pipes. Already proving to be particularly popular with Social Landlords and Local authorities, D-Line’s range of decorative and easily-installed trunking avoids the need for installers to channel, replaster and then redecorate walls. The range is also a far more effective solution than the traditional box trunking options, which have not really changed in design since the 1950s and have clip over accessories that are not attractive and are not always secure.

Zehnder Comfosystems Launches 365 Days of Comfort for the Airtight Home
Ecobuild 2010 sees the official UK launch of Zehnder Comfosystems. For the first time, the company will be displaying its ranges of recoverable and renewable energy heating, cooling and ventilation products. To celebrate this, visitors to Ecobuild will be able to enter a competition to win one of two Zehnder Comfosystems heat recovery units, and be among the first in the UK to use the highly efficient, PassivHaus certified ComfoAir CA350 Heat Recovery System. Zehnder Comfosystems has developed a range of products that integrate perfectly, providing a unique, highly efficient offer of renewable heating, hot water, cooling and ventilation. As a result, the space required to install them in the home is considerably reduced, freeing up valuable floor space for other items. Although it is possible to source individual components to provide a building with its heating and ventilation requirements, these are often drawn from a variety of differing suppliers and are not designed to work in harmony. One system from a single supplier also ensures that every component of the system is easier to install and works together with the highest efficiency. The unique integrated product set comprises a series of units designed to ensure 365 days of comfort.
