life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran
serving during World War II. Mr.
Hamlin was a son of the late Roy
James and Nell Wilson Hamlin
and was also preceded in death
by his brothers, J.R. Hamlin and
Ronnie Hamlin.
Surviving are his wife of 22
years, Mary Hamlin; stepsons,
Mackey Ramsey and wife Nan
of Georgia, and Jimmy Ramsey
and wife Tawana of Marshall; sis-
ters, Mary Tweed and Blanche
