Michael Bill Rice, of Newfound

way. Several other individuals also
gathered to watch the fight.
According to the incident report,
Rice, 22, got out of his vehicle with
a stick and a gun. Witnesses on
the scene said Bass asked Rice to
put the gun away so the two could
fight to which Rice reportedly re-
plied, “No, I am going to kill you.”
He then allegedly shot Bass in the
stomach with a .44 handgun.
Michael Bill Rice is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
