Sam’s Radiator finds new home
By Matt Tate
Sam’s Radiator and Au-
tomotive had been located
in Woodfin for 20 years.
Ten of those years, the
business was located near
Craggy Bridge and it was
located further south on
Riverside Drive for the
other 10 years.
Sam and Ann McAbee
hope their business stays
at their new home for an-
other 10 years.
Sam’s Radiator opened
in October on 133 Broad-
way Street in Asheville.
“Everything has come
in sequences of 10,” Ann
said.
Sam said the new build-
ing was a better layout and
more affordable. Both said
they were pleased the busi-
ness’ loyal clientele base
had found the new loca-
tion.
“It’s been like bees hov-
ering around honey,” Ann
said.
The skyline of Asheville can be seen from Sam’s Radiator’s new home.
