Based in Fort Lauderdale Florida since
1989 Aviation Management International
(AMI) has been servicing its customers
world wide primarily with parts, logistic
support and aircraft sales.
“Back in 2004 we recognized a need
for quality ground support equipment hav-
ing supplied and distributed other compa-
nies products”, says Kevin Howarth, VP
and Head of Sales at AMI. “We knew we
could produce a portable ground power
unit that exceeded the specifications of the
units we were distributing at that time, and
do so at a much more reasonable price to
the end user”.
Along with his business partner, Ken
Hutson, they designed and produced the
AMI-1800, AMI-2400, AMI-2400-50,
AMI-4500 and the AMI-4500-100. With a
phenomenal response to the product AMI
has sold its portable Ground Power Units
all over the world.
Encouraged by this success and in spite
of a worldwide economic downturn, AMI
decided to increase it’s line of ground sup-
port equipment and introduces the AMI-

priced, smartly engineered solution to tur-
bine engine compressor and turbine wheel
maintenance.
