Staco Systems
Jason Childs Helps Increase Market Presence
In 2009, Staco Systems, Inc. celebrated
the grand opening of its new design center
in Irvine, CA as a result of remarkable
growth and record-setting sales over the
last two years. Staco Systems has also
formed an additional business unit to han-
dle the increased volume of sub assembly.
Staco Systems, a leading supplier of
aerospace control solutions based in Costa
Mesa, CA, began designing and manufac-
turing aerospace components in 1958. For
over 50 years, Staco Systems has been a
pioneer in the avionics industry, leading
the way in reliably built products at rea-
sonable prices.

As V.P. of Sales and Marketing, Jason
is responsible for defining and develop-
ing new products and markets, exploring
partnerships with key companies, and in-
creasing the company’s market presence.
He has been a key to the company’s
growth over the last several years. Gen-
erating record setting sales for 2007, 2008,
and potentially 2009. Jason has worked
closely with the Sales & Marketing team
to refine the message, define the strategy,
and execute the plan.
Jason was instrumental in the success-
ful launch of the Series 100 (S100) switch,
a new, high reliability 4-pole double
throw (4PDT) switch. The S100 provides
durability, NVIS compatibility, sunlight
readability, High Bright (HB) LED illu-
mination, water-tight sealing, and voltage
dimming. The S100’s uniform lighting,
low surface temperature, and longer actu-
ation life set this design apart from any
other switch currently on the market.
Always active in the community, Jason
has served on Tech America’s (formerly
AeA) Government Affairs Committee
with the goal to effect change on key lo-
cal, state, and federal public policy issues
important to high-tech businesses. He also
works closely with the U.S Commercial
