THE PARTY SPOT
H.wood – 1738 North Orange
H.wood is located adjacent to Hollywood Boulevard at 1738 North Orange, and the nightclub has quickly gained a reputation as one of the hottest spots in town
to see and be seen. On the former, there’s no need to grab a telescope if you are in the mood to go star gazing, as celebrities such as party girl Lindsay Lohan have
been viewed in the Bohemian-chic decorated venue. An eclectic array of vintage items adorn its interior, where patrons can lounge on distressed leather couches or
overstuffed chairs, while gazing at antique portraits positioned on the brick and cement walls inside. On the outside patio, old fashioned bookshelves remind revelers
that reading is fundamental with their showcase of used books and collectibles. However, this is not your grandfather’s bar, as is proven with two floors of indoor and
outdoor space, totaling 12,900 square feet of fun to be had—he’d get lost!
Plus, H.Wood boasts one of the best DJs in town who gets the joint jumping on a regular basis. Don’t want Pop Pop to break a hip, now do you? But, he’d certainly be
guaranteed to bust a move. They even have a full kitchen in case you get hungry, and of course the requisite watering hole—one of which is straight out of the TV show
Cheers. It’s definitely a place where you would want everybody to know your name.
