Musical, September 8 – 20. I have heard that the doggy steals the show which is
impressive because the talented cast are all triple threats in that they dance, sing
and act, but perhaps the dog has some really great lines!
I love musicians. I also love cowboys, supermen and nerds, which is why it is so
hard for me to find the right guy, but musicians are my favorite. This is the reason
I’m so excited about seeing the boys from The Killers on September 16 at the Hol-
lywood Bowl. For tickets, call the box office at 800.745.300.
Next up, I’ll be slipping into my ‘80s outfit to celebrate the anniversary of the
Silver Fox in Long Beach with an ‘80s theme party on September 18th . Rock your
“totally awesome to the max” look. If you are lucky enough to have been born in
that decade, like I was, you will get a shot on the house so, salud, or cheers for you
gringos. One lucky winner will go home with a big flat screen television.
I love going to theme parties. I enjoy creating a costume together and getting
all dressed up in theme. That’s why I’m excited about the next event on my list,
which takes place at the Frat House September 25th for a White Party. I usually
don’t think I look good in white, but I will make an exception in this case just to
make sure I can get in the door.
So this month has a nice balance of shows, parties and nightlife. It’s good to
have a well rounded agenda, but don’t think that the events I mentioned are the
only things happening this month. Check out our community calendar on page 8
and our calendar of events on page 70 because there are so many things to do but
our publisher only gives me a page, so I have to make it work.
A quick look bAck At August
August was hot hot hot, and I don’t just mean the temperatures. I kept myself
busy going from one event to another. One of the most amazing shows I had the
pleasure of attending was the Cirque Berzerk. If you missed it you need to have
someone slap you on the back of the head. This freaky show was AMAZING. The
dancing and circus performers were dazzling. The acrobats were stunning too—
both their performances and their bodies in those skin-tight revealing outfits!
Orange County celebrated its Pride with a fantastic picnic at the William R.
Mason Regional Park. It was fun to gather with my friends and have a picnic in
celebration of our diversity.
I also got a little dose of Coco Peru while attending her performance August 27
at the Art Theater in Long Beach. My favorite Coco performance has to be in Trick.
That was one of the first gay-themed films I ever saw and oh lord, Miss Coco was
funny with her cameo (truth, truth, now that’s my nature).

On that note, I bid you adieu. This Princess needs to get back to her air condi-
tioning and cold cocktail and the September issue of the Vogue fashion bible.

I have come up with a new contest for the magazine that will give you the chance
Can a gurl go crazy from too much fun? Each month my social calendar is packed to get your hands on one of my swag bags full of great items like gift certificates
and I attend many fun events and outings. Of course, I always try to look my best to the Viejas Outlet Mall, music, DVDs, dinners at local restaurants and whatever I
even if it means aching feet from wearing shoes that are more fashionable than can get my hands on. I want to find out how much of the magazine you’re reading
comfortable, or a dress that is more sexy than practical. Sometimes beauty hurts, and how well you’re paying attention, so it’s a little quiz. It’s only three questions
but it’s worth it. This month promises to be even busier, so I’ll probably be soak- but they are not easy, so here we go:
