The Legacy Awards
The annual benefit for the Outfest Legacy Project for LGBT film preservation.
A fabulous evening on September 30 of awards, entertainment, silent auction,
appetizers, Absolut cocktails and the world premiere of a short film restoration of
Queens at Heart! There is a 7:00 p.m. pre-party, 8:00 p.m. awards and a 9:30 p.m. after

Register to Walk…AIDS WALK LOS ANGELES
With the current state of affairs and budget cuts of $52 million in monies
provided for HIV/AIDS services throughout the state of California, it is even
more pertinent to register to participate, volunteer or simply donate funds
for this year’s AIDS Walk Los Angeles on Sunday, October 18. Registration

Workshops are being held in September at AIDS Project Los Angeles
located at 3550 Wilshire Blvd. There is a fundraising workshop on Thursday,
September 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and for team leaders a workshop,
which provides recruitment and fundraising tips on Wednesday, Septem-
ber 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. We’ve marched for equality…now is the
crucial time to walk for AIDS Walk Los Angeles.
Project Angel Food Annual Dinner Gala
Join the celebration as Project Angel Food recognizes 20 years of loyal service to
those dealing with life-threatening illnesses with the Angel Awards on September
12. This al fresco dinner gala will be held outdoors at Project Angel Food located
on 922 Vine Street in Los Angeles. Project Angel Food provides more than 11,000
meals a week to 1,600 clients of all ages and backgrounds. The Angel Food gala
begins with cocktails and a silent auction at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:30
