What is Responsible Business 2012?
Responsible Business 2012 takes place over two days at the Design Centre in Islington, London. It has two main elements:
1. Responsible Business Exhibition brings together more than 150 charitable organisations with companies that are looking for innovative ways to operate more responsibly. Exhibitors range from Crisis UK to Computers 4 Africa, and also include The Travel Foundation. The LATA Foundation (Latin America Travel Association) is exhibiting for the first time in
2012. Chairman David Gilmour says: “We’ll be looking for new partners to support our projects in Latin America, such as tree-planting in Peru, running dental clinics in Argentina, and purchasing and installing three miles of water pipes for people living in poverty in Nicaragua. With support and corporate sponsorship there is so much more we could do.” The exhibition is free to attend, and there is a programme of free seminars including the TTGsession. You can pre-register, or simply turn up on March 14 or 15.
