ROUTES AFRICA Costa Adeje L
ocated on Tenerife’s west coast, Costa Adeje has a reputation for being more family friendly and
upmarket than some of the neighbouring resorts.
Shopaholics should head south of
the resort to the Centro Comercial Safari shopping centre on Avenue las Américas in the heart of the entertainment district. Elsewhere, nature lovers can book whale and dolphin-watching trips departing from the marina at Puerto Colon. Deep-sea fishing trips are also available with departures from the marina too.

Bottle-nose dolphins For those feeling active, the resort also
has two nearby waterparks. Aqualand Costa Adeje is the closer of the two – offering slides and tube rides – while Siam Park makes up for the fact that it is a little further away by being the largest on the island. For the more adventurous, Teide national
park is in the centre of the island with a barren landscape of volcanoes and craters. The park is the biggest in the Canary Islands while its highest peak, the Teide volcano is 3,718m high. Temperatures during the event are
expected to have an average high of 24C.
