AROUND THE HANGAR
trying to take off a hex nut from a long bolt and can only get a fl at at a time turn on the wrench. He is in agonizing pain with cramps and he must balance the wrench with his fi ngertips. His only recourse is to curse at the blankity-blank nut and the blankity-blank wrench. He has to endure the pain — he is a mechanic.
Physiological Effects of Cursing Experiments by researchers at Keele University in Staff ordshire, England, showed that, “swearing increases pain tolerance, increases heart rate and decreases perceived pain compared with not swearing.” The experiment involved volunteers holding their hands in ice water, while fi rst swearing or yelling, and then while speaking in a normal manner. When they used strong language, they were able to keep their hands in longer. The eff ect was especially powerful among volunteers who didn’t ordinarily use profanity. Another obvious eff ect of cursing in the hangar would be
to strengthen the communication process. While, “I can’t get this bolt loose,” can inform your coworker that you are having a problem, “I can’t get this [FREAKING] bolt loose!” can inform your coworker that he or she needs to give you some space or that they need to give you a hand.
...IT IS WIDELY ACCEPTED THAT SOME OF THE FIRST SOUNDS EMITTED BY OUR ANCESTORS WERE IN THE FORM OF GRUNTS OR SHOUTS THAT WERE PRODUCED BY REACTIONS TO DANGER OR PAIN.

Faster, Greener, Cleaner
The Cyclone Difference
Faster! Within the Cyclone head, up to 24 sapphire-tipped spray nozzles, mounted to high speed rotating arms, blast the surface with ultra-high pressure water in a swirling vortex at 140 mph – equivalent to a category 4 cyclone. As the surface is being cleaned, and deposits removed, the multi-patented Cyclone simultaneously recovers the waste water – with no vacuum.
Greener! Cyclone Technology’s advanced design utilizes up to 50% less fresh water with 20% lower fuel consumption while 95% of wastewater is recovered instantly. The on-board waste tank separates solid waste through a 160 micron biodegradable liner. The entire process uses only fresh water – no chemicals!
Before and After. CY210 is shown in this illustration.
Cleaner! The combination of ultra-high pressure water blasting with the Cyclone vortex provides exceptional cleaning while causing no damage to your surface.
CY210
Walk-Behind for areas requiring more maneuverability; used with the TR5500 or other trailers that meet requirements.
TR5500
When used with the CY210 it’s ideal for small jobs and hard to reach areas.
