Barefoot should not be a choice.
Shoe Aid is a Community Interest Company (CIC) established to raise awareness and help for the 300 million children worldwide who do not have the ability to obtain a pair of shoes, which are necessary for hygienic and health reasons, for work and school due to the devastating ills of poverty.
Shoe Aid is working to establish itself as a
leading global CIC. We are in partnership with The National Police Aid Convoy who, deliver the shoes for us. The shoes that have been collected have benefitted and helped improve the lives of people in Malawi, Gambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Russia, Albania, Pakistan, Ghana and Rwanda.
In the UK we have supported Framework a
Homeless and Vulnerable People Charity by giving them hundreds of pairs of shoes for people who, in many cases have been made homeless by circumstance. The NHS has also called for our help to help patients with severe trench foot. We have happily helped them by giving the NHS hospital hundreds of pairs of slippers.
Currently, we collect shoes from people in the UK and distribute them here and in developing nations. Shoe Aid is doing long-term planning to

be able to expand our work to help those in shoe poverty in the UK and other countries with a vision of establishing charity shops throughout the UK for people in need of re-purposed shoes at a nominal price.
Shoe Aid works with participating schools,
offices and retail establishments by providing them with specially made recycled shoe bins in order to collect shoes from individuals.
Shoe Aid will continue to provide much needed shoes for people in developing nations, disaster zones and camps. In addition, Shoe Aid are look at wat of establishing micro-businesses in developing countries where we will be teaching people how to create commerce on gently worn shoes.
The newly donated shoes will be proudly
distributed to fellow UK citizens or in the countries designated by the donor.
Retailers/Wholesalers/Manufacturers for Shoe
Aid – Companies in the shoe business are always welcome to make outright donations of shoes. We encourage retailers to serve as a sponsor for the shoe bins within their own establishment so customers can “buy a pair, give a pair”.

We also seek to partner with wholesalers and manufacturers who are able to donate sales samples, odd lots, dated inventory or retailer returns.
In addition, we are in the process of developing
a new fundraising shoe drive program for charities where organisations can actually raise money for themselves and help make an even greater impact in the global community.
Individuals can approach leadership in their
church, office, school or place of business to ask if the location would become a sponsoring organization for the shoe bins. You can also check out our web site to see how you can get involved.
