heMagicTouch has added to its existing range of Reflectra foils for embroidery to garments, textiles
and accessory decoration. The Reflectra Stitchfoil offers
embroiderers a transparent film which is compatible with all embroidery machines and used like a regular appliqué. The innovation with all Reflectra products assists to increase the value of embroidered items whilst reducing stitch time using a simple outline satin stitch. The Sensation version is best described
as opaque translucent in normal light but is activated giving an illumination effect when exposed to any direct light source

or flashes from cameras or smart phones. The effects are stunning and offer massive potential in embroidery garment decoration over many markets including fashion, promotional, sportswear, and workwear. The Reflectra products are applied using
a traditional heat press for only 15-20 seconds and suitable for most textiles including cotton, poly/cotton, mixed fibres, denim, sportswear and selected performance fabrics. All ingredients used
GLOBAL PRINT SOLUTIONS
Imagine – the stylish sophistication of embroidery with the ease and speed of a transfer print
W
ell imagine no longer, as with the DST system this really is possible.
The DST system enables print/ embroidery companies to produce high quality designs as a DST transfer rather than embroidery. The transfer can be made to look like embroidery in every respect but the time taken and the subsequent cost of producing embroidery designs is significantly reduced. In some cases the cost can be up to 20 times less than traditional embroidery. This has the effect of allowing orders to be turned around much quicker than normal and if transfers are kept in stock then repeat orders are available at your fingertips. The traditional lead time of up to two hours for schoolwear and workwear companies to set up embroidery machines to produce repeat orders of five or 10 pieces can be slashed by using DST stock transfers which can be applied within minutes. Using the DST method up to 100 A4 sized transfers can be produced in less than an hour from the artwork arriving on the desk to being cut and packed in a bag. More and more companies are taking the DST system from embroidery companies to bag printers, sportswear companies, label manufacturers, umbrella manufacturers and garment printers. DST transfers can be produced
using just one screen in a streamlined process. l Digital Print. l Screen Print. l Powder. l Press. The new soft DST powder enables a full photographic transfer to be produced
with one screen, which has stretch, soft feel and high durability. The system is PVC and phthalate free and highly cost effective. Why don’t you come and visit the GPS showroom and training school in
Sheffield and see for yourself what you could be missing out on.
