We’ve got a great confidence in the wines which now make up our 1400 strong list, so we were thrilled when The Caterer asked us to partner with them for the 2015 UK Sommelier of the year awards. As the country’s most respected competition for sommeliers, these awards and the participants are deemed the Crème de la crème when it comes to sommeliers in the UK. We provided a set of wines for the heats and final and many of our own wine experts from within Matthew Clark even formed part of the judging panel, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the process, and it was great to meet such a skilled group of individuals.
2014 saw our Wine List win over 700 awards... that’s over 200 more than last year!
As well as these accolades, we’ve also been awarded the title of “Best Drinks Supplier” in the Chefs’ Choice Awards 2015, Wine on premise UK 2014 have given us the accolade of “Distributor of the year” and we’ve also won “Best National Wine supplier” in the PMA’s Publican Choice Awards, voted for by our customers.
