AQA

Realise your potential with flexible CPD training for all teachers, from all schools

experiences lasting around 2 hours. We provide a large amount of support in the form of downloadable materials which the teachers can take away and use in the classroom afterwards. The teachers can also share ideas with their peers through multiple chat panels and take part in thought-provoking polls. We also know that 45% of our participants share our online training with colleagues using whiteboards or projectors, which supports the aim of sharing best practice widely and cost effectively. We can also bring our CPD solutions to you at your school, or in your region working with local Alliance and Teaching School partners delivering local programmes.

AQA in school training We have a dedicated In School support team able to discuss requirements

W

hilst everyone recognises AQA as the largest Awarding Body in the UK, we are not always the obvious choice for improving teaching and

learning, or for addressing the wider CPD needs of teachers. Despite that, every year we train over thirty thousand teachers who teach both AQA and non-AQA specifications. We have built a comprehensive range of over 350 courses covering Key Stage 1-5, offered at face-to-face events or online, that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your school or alliance. These range from support with curriculum changes, improving core teaching skills, enhancing subject matter expertise, and leadership and management training. We are passionate about providing CPD that leaves a lasting impact, to help all teachers realise their potential.

difficult to plan time out of school to attend one of our nationally scheduled courses. If that is the case, then we can offer other flexible solutions to meet your needs.Online training has become an important part of CPD delivery. The feedback we get categorically shows us that it is a very cost effective and time efficient alternative if finding cover or booking time out to attend face to face training is difficult. Nicola Dickerson, Solihull School Key Stage 2 French/Spanish: Get off to a flying start

with teachers and schools, to advise the best way of satisfying local CPD needs. This could be through the selection of one of our established training courses or through a more tailored approach to suit a specific need. This can result in a much more targeted and successful training intervention, which helps facilitate local subject networking and build a more sustainable CPD programme.
