Te Haydenettes, seventh at Worlds last season, sat sixth after their short program to a medley of music from James Bond movies. While the program was clean, the team from Lexington, Massachusetts, failed to earn the highest element base value on four of its elements. “Normally those things don’t happen at
practice, but today they slipped away from us,” Haydenettes coach Saga Krantz said. Teir short program was highlighted by an outstanding pivot line and no hold element. Teir highest component score, for performance/ execution, was 9.0. Te team’s free skate to music from the Sun-
