47% of these were deemed to be adequate and required no revision whilst 53% required creating or revising. This represents a significant improvement to the
current asset management program in use at the sugar mill and it is important to understand that this result was achieved in a remarkably short space of time with a minimum set of resources. This information is presented graphically in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. IDAM, coupled with the Drive software application,
has been developed into a formidable combination and has a proven track record in assisting enterprises to achieve peak performance rapidly and effectively. n

New thermal imaging software packages
T
wo software tools that cut thermal imaging engineers’ survey/reporting time by 20% by streamlining data capture, input and analysis procedures have been
developed by Ti Thermal Imaging. TICOR is believed to be the first Android-based thermal imaging reporting application that provides immediate one click report generation. Installing it on an android tablet enables engineers to enter data from a thermal imaging camera directly into the tablet and produce instant diagnostic reports while they are still on site with just one click at the end of each TI survey. The TICOR software can also be integrated into WEBCOR
– Ti Thermal Imaging’s new online predictive maintenance and condition monitoring programme – and, again with just one click, the data captured on TICOR can be uploaded onto WEBCOR to provide data comparison and tracking of any changes to give early indication of potential issues or problem areas. Both software programmes are compatible with any thermal imaging cameras that produce images in various formats as well as the recently-launched Seek Thermal camera attachment for mobile phones. n
