UNITE COMMUNITY HERE TO HELP


In February, Unite’s North East, Yorkshire and Humberside (NEY&H) region opened its third Community support centre, in Farsley, Leeds.

The team will be offering help and support on a wide range of issues and acting as ‘benefit buddies’. Courses on CVs, job applications and computer classes, among others, are planned.

24-hour strikes in January. Further strike action in February was postponed in a bid to get all of the bus operators to talks with the conciliation service Acas. As we go to press a resolution has still not been found.
