PowerBug plan to expand for 2015

As part of its continued growth and development, 2015 will see PowerBug significantly extend its distribution and reach. Until now the popular trolleys have been sold almost exclusively via American Golf outlets in the UK, but that is changing this year as PowerBug opens up its distribution channels to reach more retail partners and therefore more customers. Retail partners can order direct from their wholesale

P

website resource at www.powerbug.co.uk, and have their orders sent wherever they wish, whether to their store or to the customer’s home or work address. PowerBug also offers the most comprehensive accessory

range of any electric trolley brand, including all the most popular add-ons trolley users demand, plus one or two neat little touches such as the ‘Boot Tidy’ for efficient and clean storage and transportation, and the ‘Stay Dry’ towel set, an ingenious rain-resistant tube that keeps your towel dry yet readily accessible. In addition to all of this, if your order comes to over £50, delivery will be included. PowerBug has also

offered a five-year limited warranty on all its trolleys and the mini- lithium battery that is guaranteed to last 27 holes. This warranty scheme not only applies to all trolleys, but also all lithium batteries. PowerBug also

operates a rental scheme where they allow your customers to ‘try before they buy’.

New Extra-Soſt ball from Bridgestone

B

ridgestone Golf is launching a new Extra-Soſt golf ball designed to appeal to the majority of golfers who possess a moderate swing speed compared with Tour players, yet seek more distance and better feel from a golf ball.

The Bridgestone Golf Extra Soſt ball has a brand new two-piece construction that

combines an extra soſt gradational core with a soſt ionomer cover to produce longer distance, feel and straighter flight on all shots. The Extra Soſt ball also provides golfers of varying skill levels with more consistent

ball flight and accuracy from tee to green, thanks to the aerodynamic performances of Bridgestone’s patented Seamless Cover Technology and Tour-proven 330 dimple design. Steve Kettlewell, managing

director of Bridgestone Golf UK, commented: “Bridgestone Golf continues to enhance the modern golf ball and the new Extra-Soſt ball gives more amateur golfers the opportunity to improve their game, simply by choosing a ball that is more of a match to their individual swing speed.” The low compression

provided by the new ball’s soſt gradational core makes it easier for golfers with moderate swing speeds – at least 75% of those fitted by Bridgestone Golf average no more than 105 mph off the tee – to compress the ball fully and gain maximum distance, while the soſtness of the ionomer cover produces more spin and feel for outstanding greenside performance. Ball-fitting technician Joe Distefano added: “Many golfers don’t realise that the golf ball

they’re using doesn’t match their swing speed and will inhibit the distance they can achieve. The new Extra Soſt ball will help more of these golfers improve their distance on every shot, just like Matt Kuchar or Fred Couples can achieve with their respective Tour 330 ball versions.” The new Extra Soſt will be available at green grass outlets and other retailers from

March at an RRP of £19.99 per dozen. www.bridgestonegolf.co.uk
