Measure humidity in extreme conditions
T
he Vaisala Humicap humidity and temperature transmitter series HMT330 is built for incredibly stable measurement in just about any environment – clean
or dirty, hot or cold. The instrument can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each application.
Making quality measurements in high humidity conditions (over 90% RH) is always a challenge because it is so close to saturation. The HMT330 features warmed probe technology to handle these demanding conditions. Heating keeps the sensor – and the whole probe, including
the filter – at a temperature several degrees above the ambient. This ensures water will not condense on the sensor. In environments with high concentrations of chemicals and cleaning agents, the chemical purge option helps to maintain measurement accuracy between calibration intervals. n
