Hours:
Thursday: Noon – 7 p.m. Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Admission: $15 for Adults Children 12 and under, Free
Admission includes access to free offsite parking and a shuttle bus. Offsite parking is located weekdays at the Newport Harbor Lutheran Church and on weekends at the Hoag Health Center, with free shuttle service to and from Lido Marina Village.
Daniel Komen, the 3,000-meter world record holder, could run across all the boats in about
6 minutes
(using his splits during his world- record run). You shouldn’t try.
SAFECO FIELD 1978
PIKE PLACE MARKET
In Seattle, the boats in the show could stretch from Safeco Field to the Pike Place Market. Add in the 2,000 feet of temporary docks added for the show, and the convoy would continue almost to the Space Needle. The boats would come up about 800 feet short of spanning the Golden Gate Bridge.
