The new system enables devs to capture performances from their actors without tethering them to a sit-down system. This allows for more realistic performances and the HD cameras are able to take in more subtle movements in both the face and body that marker- based or video-based systems might miss. In fact, the DI4D requires no markers, no make-up and no special lighting – just an actor and a script.
