develop 100 42 POWERVR RAY TRACING GPUS

THE POWERVR RAY Tracing tech from Imagination Technologies is a rendering tool that accurately simulates the transition of light. It is often used to support pre-baked lighting in the form of lightmaps or light probes, and enables light maps to be baked in near real-time. The impressive tech is set to be integrated into Unity 5 when it’s released later this year. It’s also possible to create a hybrid rendering system where an incremental scaling algorithm is used for visibility determination, but ray tracing can be selectively added in order to implement specific effects.

43 CONSTRUCT 2

HTML5 IS RAPIDLY becoming a go-to programming language for web game developers, and Construct 2 helps aspiring game-makers with no coding experience to join in. This HTML5 game creator specialises in building 2D titles and is designed to be simple to use: developers simply drag and drop objects, add preset behaviours around them and configure in-game events. The WYSIWYG layout editor makes it easier to resize and rotate objects, and devs can preview a working version of their title at any time – either via PC, or transmitted to mobiles, tablets and laptops.
