Roger (Rod) Jones, president and chief executive of- ficer of The CSL Group Inc. Jones has been with CSL for more than 24 years. In 1992, he and a team of CSL Montreal employees started CSL International (now CSL Americas), located in Beverly, Mss. Under his lead- ership, CSLI grew beyond Beverly to offices in Australia, as well as Singapore.
Prior to CSL, Jones held leadership positions at Van
Ommeren and Navios Corp. Early on in his career, he was a member of the U.S. Navy. He serves as deputy chairman of the Standard P&I Club and is an active member of the Connecticut Maritime Association. He holds a bachelor of arts from Colby College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

dry bulk services and the world’s largest owner and operator of self-unloading vessels. CSL worldwide employs some 2,000 people, both
on its vessels and onshore. CSL delivers more than 70 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo annually for customers around the globe in industries ranging from construc- tion and steel to energy and agri-food. The cargo CSL transports includes iron ore, grain, coal, salt, aggre- gates and sugar among many others.
