The canopy block was selected from lightweight balsa and sanded flush to the firewall (above left) and then the nose block was tacked to the firewall and heavily glued to the canopy block. A little blue masking tape (above right)


protects the thin fuselage skin from sanding and damage while the cowl is shaped. Both a molded canopy and cowl are also available from Park Flyer Plastics, www.parkflyerplastics.com as seen on the plans.
