NEW RIVALRIES, NEW MEANING March 23 — Syracuse at Duke


12:30 p.m. (ESPNU) Last year’s national title game was a preview of things to come. The Orange and Blue Devils have played in each of the last four years.


April 5 — Duke at Notre Dame 12 p.m. (ESPNU)


After four straight February games, the Blue Devils and Irish play in April. Duke has been 0-4 in those February games, but 3-0 against the Irish in the NCAA tournament, including two wins in national title years.


April 12 — North Carolina at Syracuse


6 p.m. (ESPNU) The Tar Heels visit the Carrier Dome for the first time in 20 years. The younger players on both rosters weren’t even born.

The matchup billed as one to watch if you’re a fan up fast-paced action now will count as a conference win and loss.


March 29 — Notre Dame at Syracuse 12 p.m. (ESPNU)

The class of the Big East the last couple years take their series into the nation’s best league.


March 30 — Virginia at Maryland


12 p.m. (ESPNU) The Terps head to the Big Ten next


year, so this could be their last encounter with archrival Virginia for a while. It’s also one of only two Maryland home ACC clashes.
