uilding is well underway at Quedgeley West Business Park, Gloucester as Gardiners takes its next steps into expansion with an
additional 34,700 square foot premises. Within the first six months of 2013, Gardiners saw phenomenal sales growth leading to the group investing £4 million to double the size of its business over the next three to five years.
The group distributes leading global footwear
and workwear brands through retail and distribution networks. With over 2,000 lines available from stock, Gardiners is one of the largest UK footwear and clothing distributors to the trade. Over the last six months, they have been working on exciting designs and layouts for the premises.
ADDITIONAL PREMISES IN USE BY JULY 2014 At three storeys high, including warehouse,
office space plus modern showroom, the new build will enable Gardiners to focus on the factors which put a distance between them and their competition – a unique service proposition backed up by a unique range of brands and products. The premises will open this summer.

Gardiners work closely with. The development site is the perfect opportunity to showcase their safety range and at the start of the project Gardiners supplied Garth Chisholme, Site Manager at Barnwood Construction and some of his team Amblers Safety boots.
“I have known Gardiners since I was an
apprentice bricklayer in the 70s and worked on their warehouse in Alvin Street, so it’s nice to work with them again,” says Chisholme, “The boots they supplied to me are light, comfortable and hardwearing - just the job for a site manager.”
