McKamey Manor is an extreme home haunt located in San Di- ego. It is owned and operated by Russ McKamey. As a home haunt it has received it fair share of publicity including appear- ing on Making Monsters and Halloween Crazies.


It has been only 2 years since McKamey Manor was featured in Haunted Attraction Magazine. A lot has transpired in that time period. Haunted Attraction Magazine has gone digital giving us a better opportunity to show the magnitude of the McKamey Manor experience and McKamey Manor made an unsuccess- ful attempt of going pro only to be thwarted by a municipality that was afraid of what Russ and his demented crew had to offer. That experience has brought the manor back to its roots only to be bigger, bloodier and more intense. The experience is now limited to 2 victims at a time and it now lasts over 3 gru- eling hours. It is open year round on weekends by reservation only and has a current waiting list of over 17,000 people. If you were to get on the waiting list it could be over a decade before you could participate in this wicked experience. Prior to enter- ing you would have to prove you are physically fit enough to survive and then endure a stern lecture by Russ as to why you really don’t want to enter. Admission is a whopping 4 cans of dog food to help retired greyhounds and once inside there is no way to turn back unless you are experiencing a life threatening experience.
