The lady with whom I spoke [in October 2013] personally called my physician [and] faxed him the necessary paperwork, and by the end of the day, I received a call that my new meds had been ordered, and I was given an [estimated time of arrival] for their delivery.

So, well done, folks — you have fully redeemed yourselves in my eyes. Express Scripts has made a friend and a believer in me.

Fumbled Funny
“Fueling Fumble” [Encore, November 2013] was a funny article, but it had one flaw. A commercial DC-4 does not cruise at more than 11,000 feet because it is not pressurized. The airlines were using pressurized DC-6s in 1954.

Corrections:
In “Building Bridges,” October 2013, we incorrectly identified retired Navy reservist Lt. Cmdr. Biddle Whigham of the Lancaster (Pa.) chapter. We deeply regret this error. In “State Report Card,” November 2013, North Dakota should have received a green dot, with a “gain” arrow, in the Spouse Portable State Licensure category. We also have reevaluated several designations: In the Property Taxes category, California should have received a green dot and Delaware a yellow dot; in the Exempt From State Taxation category, North Carolina should have received yellow dots for both Military Retired Pay and the Survivor Benefit Plan.
