With the press of a button, Toolcat™ utility work machine operators can switch into all-wheel steer mode. Four steerable axles deliver a tighter turning radius than a compact tractor, utility vehicle or pickup truck for better maneuverability, particularly when working in tight areas. All-wheel steering also minimizes tire wear while working on asphalt or concrete, and protects sensitive surfaces such as grass or turf. When operators are done working in all-wheel steer mode they can easily switch back to front-wheel steer by pressing the same button.

Ergonomic joystick hydraulic control enhances operator comfort
The joystick hydraulic control makes operating Toolcat™ 5600 and 5610 utility work machines comfortable. The ergonomic, convenient joystick design provides effortless control of front-mounted attachments without having to look away from the task at hand. Intuitive fi ngertip control eliminates searching for buttons and switches. Even secondary attachment functions such as angle adjustments for angle brooms, snow blades or soil conditioners can be made — instinctively — from the comfort of the cab. Dual- direction detent allows for continuous hydraulic fl ow to the attachment in either direction, eliminating the need to hold down a switch, making it easier for using bidirectional attachments such as sweepers and tillers.
Toolcat 5600 and 5610 utility work machines offer lift arm fl oat, allowing it to move up and down freely so the attachment matches ground contours for optimum performance. And, the rear PTO, 3-point hitch and rear remote hydraulics of the 5610 are all operated with simple controls inside the cab.
