19-person Squad Competed In ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Cyprus

Billed as a major tourist destination in the heart of the Mediterranean, you’ll forgive the USA Shooting Team if they want no part of Cyprus after the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup. A 19-person squad com- peted in the shotgun-only World Cup and came away disap- pointed after no top-10 performances. Trap shooter Jan- essa Beaman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was the highest U.S. fi nisher in 13th place. The roster featured athletes that fi nished ranked fourth through sixth in

the fi nal open standings of the 2013 Spring Selection match and included the fourth and fi fth-placed juniors from that match as well. Top U.S. fi nishers per event included: Seth Inman (Independence, Mo.), 27th in Men’s Trap; Ian Rupert (Muncy, Pa.), 23rd in Men’s Double Trap; Luis “Taz” Gloria (Tucson, Ariz.), 33rd in Men’s Skeet; Jaiden Grin- nell (Port Angeles, Wash.), 19th in Women’s Skeet.
