event at their annual meetings and 2013 was no different. Members of the USA Shooting Team were on-hand in Sturgis, S.D. to help raise a record amount of $27,000 to support the team, bringing the total amount raised by SAAMI mem- bers to nearly $250,000.


Krieghoff Raffl e Through a generous donation from Kreighoff International of a beautiful K-80 30” Pro Sporter, members of the Shooting Team sold entry tickets through June with Wayne Erickson of Alliance, Neb., winning this beautiful shotgun.


Shooting Industry Masters


FMG Publications raised $11,250 for the USA Shoot- ing Team at Shooting Industry Masters in 2013 with the fi rearms industry converging on Cody, Wyo., July 19-20. FMG Publications partnered with the USA Shooting Team for fundrais- ing efforts and new-shooter instruction. For the fourth year in a row, the participating athletes were part of the “Rent-a-Ringer”


program where they were pur- chased by an industry team with the proceeds benefi ting USA Shooting, in addition to select auction proceeds going to sup- port the team.


Weekend of Champions Each year, USA Shooting donates a weekend for two in Colorado Springs to each of its conservation partners for them to auction at their annual con- vention. In August, USA Shooting welcomed these friends to the Olympic Training Center for an opportunity to shoot with mem- bers of the USA Shooting Team, visit the Olympic Training Center and enjoy the National Champi- onships for Shotgun.


Shoot for Rio: Todd Goodnough Memorial Shoot


The USA Shooting Team joined the crew of the 1st Annual Shoot for Rio: Todd Goodnough Memorial Shoot at the Fenton Lakes Gun Club in Fenton, Mich. The event gener- ated $10,000 to support the team’s preparation for Rio in 2016.
