The biggest addition to the bag is the inch-and-a-half hip belt. This allows paddlers to quickly attach the bag around their waist during certain scenarios, like standup paddleboarding or portaging around a big rapid. Plastic D-ring attachment points have been replaced with two-inch webbing. This makes it easier and stronger to slide straps through for securing the bag.

The coast guard requires all vessels have a PFD and signaling device aboard. When you don’t want to wear your PFD, the PFD In A Bag is a great option.
