BORNEO TREK

Meet some of the other amazing animals that can be found in the unique rainforests of Borneo...

Sun bear It may be the

world’s smallest species of bear, but this forest-dweller is no softy, with its long, sharp claws and strong jaws. It uses its long tongue to scoop up insects – slurp!

Pygmy

elephant There are around 1,000 of these ‘dwarf’ elephants living in Borneo. Much smaller than their African and Asian cousins, they love to splash in rivers and swamps to keep cool.

Flying

their limbs, which

allows them to glide effortlessly from tree to tree!

Proboscis
