Helicopter Maintenance – Tell us a little bit about


your helicopter operations. Cleaves – Twenty-eight years, we started with one helicopter in West Plains, MO. The community didn’t have immediate access to a trauma center; the closest was 1.5 hours away by ambulance. Flying patients to the trauma center was the only option, Air Evac was born, and this has been our business model ever since.
