Elysian recently announced the acquisition, alongside the incumbent management team, of accelyon Limited, a growing company specialising in brachytherapy, an important treatment option for early stage prostate cancer.


Led by a highly experienced management team in the brachytherapy industry, it is expected that the Company will quickly attain a leading market position in the delivery of brachytherapy, initially focussed on the UK and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.




Schneider, Geiwitz & Partner restructured alpine deutschland aG a subsidiary of the insolvent austrian parent company alpine Bau GmbH by transferring reorganisation.


The board of Alpine Deutschland AG filed for insolvency and requested self administration in June 2013. In 2012 Alpine Deutschland had approximately 1869 employees and achieved a turnover of about € 600 million. Arndt Geiwitz, German CPA and senior partner of Schneider, Geiwitz & Partner was appointed as preliminary custodian according to the revised new German insolvency law (ESUG). With opening of the proceedings Arndt Geiwitz was appointed as insolvency administrator in standard insolvency proceedings.





The restructuring was led by Mr. Geiwitz and Mr. Werner Schneider, German CPA and founder of Schneider, Geiwitz & Partner together with Mrs. Petra Heidenfelder as insolvency law expert. The implementation of the transaction, its documentation and the restructuring of the workforce by transferring approx. 300 employees to a transfer company under inclusion of an social plan, reconciliation of interest agreement and further measures were lead by Dr. Hans Machreich and his team.


Zech Bau Group, a leading German Construction Corporation, advised by Hoffmann & de Vries, Hamburg took over major parts of Alpines restructured construction business.


Schneider, Geiwitz has several hundred corporations often with international affiliates under administration and restructures them with their constantly expanding worldwide network of accounting, law – firms and financial advisors. LM
