You can nominate a company or an individual
for an award in each of the relevant categories. There is also the opportunity to self-nominate!
Is there a retailer that you know does a
fabulous job? Do you have any 'hero brands' that are a guaranteed hit? How do you separate the best from the rest when there is so much to choose from? Well now is your chance to tell us by highlighting the brands, people, retailers and services of the future.
Laura West of The Society of Shoe Fitters said:
"How many times do we hear 'use it or lose it'? It's true though, whatever it is - a shop, an organisation, an event, if we don't participate we only have ourselves to blame when events/businesses/people are no longer available. 'If only' doesn't bring them back! Don't make excuses not to come to the Awards Dinner because it's not expensive and a really good event to unite the industry. You are guaranteed an entertaining night, good food and probably too much drink...but also a chance to congratulate the successful and comiserate with the runners-up. If you ask any of the finalists whether it was worth the effort the majority would say 'most definitely' from the media coverage and kudos it brings after. The only losers are those who don't join in, so dust off your glad rags and let your only regret be your hangover! "

Footwear Association added: "The BFA will be encouraging its members, many of who show at the Moda exhibition, to apply for the nominations and we are looking forward to the evening."

The FIA team, including a representative from
the SSF, IFRA and BFA, Remonte and Cheryl, Editor of Footwear Today Magazine, will select a winner to be announced on the night and presented with £1,500 of holiday vouchers. Independent retailers can also be nominated by somebody else.
The FIA team will contact the nominated
retailer to ask them to supply evidence, to be in with a chance of winning this exciting award and the holiday vouchers that come with it!
