C3C is Growing


The China CDISC Coordinating Committee (C3C) is pleased to announce an expanded leadership team as well as new committee members in July.


John Wang was elected as the 2nd Vice Chair of C3C. John is the Principal Scientist in Programming from J&J and is one of the most experienced CDISC experts in China. He joined C3C when it was formed in 2008, and has been invited to present various CDISC topics at multiple industry events. With John onboard, the current leadership team consists of four members: Zibao Zhang (Chair), Victor Wu (Vice Chair), John Wang (2nd Vice Chair) and Simon Wang (Past Chair).


In addition, C3C also welcomed 3 new elected members:


Ruiling Peng (NNIT Technology Co. Ltd, Tianjing) is the Subject Matter Expert from the Quality Assurance & Life Science Consultancy department. She is very interested in CDISC and is actively promoting CDISC Standards in China. Feng Li (Merck Serono) is Director of Data Management and a CDISC expert in the data management area. Wenjun Bao (SAS Institute Inc.) is Sr. Bioinformatician, Chief Scientist, R&D Manager. She has broad experience in management, research, teaching and software development as well as utilizing CDISC data for clinical trial data analysis in China.


With this expanded team and broader expertise, the C3C is not only growing in size but is more prepared to play an increasingly important role in promoting clinical research in China.
